What did you like most about Sri Lanka and Maldives?
Diversity in environment, abundant things to do in Sri Lanka, culture, food, accessibility, contrast of the two islands.
What did you like least about Sri Lanka and Maldives?
Long journey from Sri Lanka to Maldives even though only 1.5 hour's flight. Airport staff at check in the slowest in the world!
Any other comments?
Oscar our tour guide was very accommodating to our needs, especially when we requested an afternoon off to relax and use the pool. He was a good driver, especially on the Sri Lanka roads!
The hotel choices were amazing.
Heritance Kandalama [Dambulla] - amazing - highlight was infinity pool and monkeys.
Cinnamon Citadel [Kandy] - amazing.
John did an amazing job with the itinerary given our limited time and specific requests for a certain standard of hotel. I appreciated the choices given before the itinerary was set, it allowed us to upgrade or downgrade as appropriate.
