What did you like most about Sri Lanka?
Diversity – the ability to see so much culture/nature/ wildlife etc. in a snapshot of time.
Hill country was so beautiful.
What did you like least about Sri Lanka?
Hard to say – it was wonderful!
What is your opinion of your accommodation in Sri Lanka?
Only have feedback on 2 properties – all others perfect.
Big Game Camp, Yala – Great on our first night as camp full but second day only one other couple there who were out for the whole day which meant the camp was dead. A walk was offered but never materialized. Expected it to be laid back but not completely sparse of people. Perhaps some board games? (Games/crafts/cookery on activity board but only thing offered was a walk?)
Paradise Beach Club, Mirissa – Rest[aurant] service & food poor, staff not the most pleasant!
What is your opinion of your chauffeur guide in Sri Lanka?
Nihal was wonderful!!
Punctual, knowledgeable, friendly & considerate.
We were so pleased to have the one driver for our whole 3 weeks. It would have affected our holiday to have changed mid-term so thank you!
Private drivers are definitely worth the investment – just to tap into their knowledge!
What is your opinion of your flights to and from Sri Lanka?
Airbus [A380] was perfect.
[Boeing] 777 was a little cramped and old in comparison but suffice for 4 hours ��
[Emirates – Economy Class – London Heathrow]
Any other comments?
Tikalanka did a wonderful job with our itinerary allowing us to cover ground yet see all the sites without feeling rushed.
