What did you like most about Sri Lanka?
People, food, bird life, culture.
What did you like least about Sri Lanka?
The driving and dog barking.

Just a quick note re our trip, which we enjoyed very much.
Buckingham Place [Tangalle] was well worth all the pre-arrival aggravation and detouring to and from Mirissa, it was our favourite hotel - we loved it. The suite was fabulous, very private and wonderful views.
Also, thanks for advising about the anniversary - we had bubbly and a cake!
Some info for you re Number One Mirissa [Mirissa] - it is in no way worth the same money as Buckingham. It is OK, but not for that amount of money - client profile would be well heeled surfers.
Nisala Arana [Bentota] was a bit of a disappointment, I'm not sure how much it is a night so it is hard to make a judgement compared to other places but we felt it was not nearly as good as TripAdvisor led me to believe it might be. (I know, I know TripAdvisor..................).
As for Hanthana House [Kandy] - the food was great, the family are lovely.
All in all, we had a great time and thanks for your help.
