What did you like most about Sri Lanka?
Beautiful countryside, lush and tropical.
Fascinating historical sites to visit.
Food and beaches.
Nice people.
What did you like least about Sri Lanka?
Mosquitoes.
Unreliable levels of service.
What is your opinion of your accommodation in Sri Lanka?
Hotels are beautiful and stylish, but often let down by poor or slow service.
HIGHLY recommend Coco Tangalla [Tangalle] for staff and service and food.
98 Acres [Resort, Ella] is lovely and setting tremendous, BUT staff service and food were poor.
What is your opinion of your chauffeur guide in Sri Lanka?
First guide – Nihal – was great, engaging and considerate. Better as a driver maybe than a particularly knowledgeable guide, but a lovely man and good English.
We also had Ravi and Satis [Sateesh] for a couple of days, they were less engaging, more like drivers only, and not great English so difficult to communicate well.
What is your opinion of your flights to and from Sri Lanka?
Sri Lankan Airlines were fine and on time. Flew economy so as good as we could expect!
