What did you like most about Sri Lanka?
We really enjoyed the holiday and loved Sri Lanka – so green, wonderful & varied scenery, great climate (it did rain more than expected but this was not a problem), so many things to see – history, temples, scenery, wildlife, birds etc etc!
What did you like least about Sri Lanka?
Train from Jaffna to Colombo.
Too many jeeps in Yala.
Litter in the north.
What is your opinion of your accommodation in Sri Lanka?
Generally better than I was expecting, an interesting mix, some very good and some rather basic.
What is your opinion of your chauffeur guide in Sri Lanka?
Chathura & Ayesh [Mahesh] – both easy to get along with, felt relaxed with their driving, great passion & knowledge of their country (although less knowledge of the north).
What is your opinion of your flights to and from Sri Lanka?
All to schedule – so fine.
All flights were full, however the leg room on Emirates was good. [Economy Class – London Gatwick]
