We had a wonderful holiday in Sri Lanka, our driver [guide] Oscar was perfect, very gentle but with a great sense of humour and he looked after us so well.
The hotels we stayed at were very good, and we especially enjoyed our stay at Buckingham Place [Tangalle], a perfect place to relax after our busy and very enjoyable sightseeing schedule. Least favourite hotel The Safari at Tissamaharama.
We had a great experience on our afternoon safari to Yala West N.P. as we saw a leopard, it as so close we could almost touch it! We were told that only 50% of the visitors to the park see a leopard, so we were very honoured.
Sri Lanka was a wonderful country to visit and each place had its own special delight for us to enjoy.
We were so pleased that we were recommended to use Tikalanka Tours, and we shall certainly recommend you to our friends and family.
