What did you like most about Sri Lanka?
Being able to see animals/birds in their natural environment.
The friendliness of the people we met and the contrast between parks and coast.
What did you like least about Sri Lanka?
Nothing.
What is your opinion of your accommodation in Sri Lanka?
Generally very good.
Buffet in [Kassapa] Lion’s Rock [Sigiriya] could have been hotter.
Room in [The] Safari Hotel [Tissamaharama] very noisy as over the air conditioning plant. Moved rooms but little improvement.
41 Lighthouse Street [Galle] a little disappointing (staff seemed disinterested).
Redcliffs [Mirissa] – Amazing and staff were excellent – made the week for us and an excellent conclusion to the trip.
What is your opinion of your chauffeur guide in Sri Lanka?
Anura was incredible. His enthusiasm and knowledge of the wildlife inspired an interest in us which we will not forget. Highly recommended.
What is your opinion of your flights to and from Sri Lanka?
Outbound – OK! [Emirates – Economy Class from Madrid]
Return – the early departure due to runway maintenance meant a long wait in Colombo and Dubai, which rather spoiled the experience.
