What did you like most about Sri Lanka?
Countryside, Scenery, Birds, Animals, Food, People, and the cultural and historic sites.
What did you like least about Sri Lanka?
Leeches.
What is your opinion of your accommodation in Sri Lanka?
The Mudhouse [Anamaduwa]: Enjoyed could have stayed longer.
Little Paradise Anuradhapura: as a guesthouse OK.
Lake Lodge Kandalama [Dambulla]: Enjoyed.
The Kandy House [Kandy]. Enjoyed, very relaxing.
Jetwing [St. Andrew’s] Nuwara Eliya: would have liked to stay longer.
Clove Tree Cottage [Ella] OK, bit basic, although the chef was very good.
Thaulle Resort [Tissamaharama]: Enjoyed.
Buckingham Place [Tangalle]: Enjoyed, could have stayed longer.
Fort Bliss [Galle]: No evening meal, otherwise OK. [B&B accommodation only]
Casa Heliconia [Kaleliya]: As an airport hotel, 1 hr away!! Very relaxing would have liked to stay longer.
What is your opinion of your chauffeur guide in Sri Lanka?
Kapila was very attentive and thoughtful, good knowledge of Sri Lanka and its wildlife, sometimes we had difficulty understanding his English. Very careful driver.
What is your opinion of your flights to and from Sri Lanka?
Good. [SriLankan Airlines – Business/Economy Class]
Any other comments?
Much appreciated the help with recovering Tony’s iPad after leaving it on the outbound aircraft.
A very enjoyable and well managed holiday which lived up to our expectations.
