The friendliness of the people, the scenery, wildlife, food.
What did you like least about Sri Lanka?
The humidity.
What is your opinion of your accommodation in Sri Lanka?
The Wallawwa [Airport] - Lovely location, tranquil, good food.
Kalundewa Retreat [Dambulla] - Nice building and location. Do not send anymore guests there until a kitchen has been installed and new manager appointed!
Hanthana House [Kandy] - Most welcoming. Wonderfully looked after. Food memorable.
Jetwing Warwick Gardens [Nuwara Eliya] - Stunning place.
98 Acres Resort [Ella] - Good food, lovely views.
Kalu's Hideaway [Uda Walawe] - Pleasant but unexceptional.
Cinnamon Wild [Yala] - Pleasant tourist hotel.
The Last House [Tangalle] - This has set a new standard for excellence for us!
The Fort Printers [Galle] - Excellent hotel with very good food.
Mount Lavinia Hotel [Colombo] - Pleasant tourist hotel.
What is your opinion of your chauffeur guide in Sri Lanka?
Kapila impressed us greatly. His driving was excellent, his knowledge of Sri Lanka's culture, customs and wildlife was encyclopaedic. His ability to spot and identify birds was stunning. And on top of that we really enjoyed his company.

Thank you very much for giving us such a wonderful holiday. Sri Lanka was as interesting a destination as I had always hoped it would be.
Your ideas for places to visit gave us a very good variety and your choice of hotels was excellent. We especially liked the mix of small intimate places, Pathi's home [Hanthana House, Kandy] and larger hotels.
Kapila was an excellent guide, always on time (or early) and unfailingly cheerful, even though he missed spending New Year with his family. The car was very comfortable and always spotlessly clean. We would have been happier if he had always had prearranged accommodation each night.
Unlike many holidays that we have been on, all your arrangements worked well with flexibility when we wanted it.
