What did you like most about Sri Lanka?
The achievement of the well-designed itinerary in a reasonable manner which enabled me appreciate (in a limited time) a number of facets of Sri Lankan life and culture – sometimes in areas like animals and birdlife I hadn’t really anticipated.
What did you like least about Sri Lanka?
The need to remove shoes on Buddhist temples/sites, even with socks the hot surfaces were incredible. Will bring rugby socks the next time! Even my driver [guide] who is used to it had to take avoiding action from time to time. Not suitable for people with foot conditions.
What is your opinion of your accommodation in Sri Lanka?
Well chosen. Suited my needs for reasonable facilities with ambience, special qualities and a degree of financial restraint.
What is your opinion of your chauffeur guide in Sri Lanka?

What is your opinion of your flights to and from Sri Lanka?
Adequate given my dislike of long flights, particularly on the return journey. [SriLankan Airlines – Economy]

No, except to express my thanks and also the view that (even after a short period in the country) as usual I found the cultural, historical and political nuances rather more subtle than surface appearances would suggest.
