What did you like most about Sri Lanka?
The Mudhouse [Puttalam] - particularly the care of the staff, especially Molli.
Elephant safari [arranged privately].
Homestay at Hanthana House [Kandy].
What did you like least about Sri Lanka?
Enjoyed Heritance Kandalama hotel [Dambulla], food, location etc but it was the only place where we felt we weren't welcome by staff.
Any other comments?
Found tipping constantly - awkward.
Enjoyed sampling Sri Lankan food but not at breakfast.
Loved Club Palm Bay hotel [Marawila] - very relaxing, staff great.
Homestay in Kandy [Hanthana House] - brilliant, couldn't have been looked after any better.
Our driver [guide], Yapa, drove exceptionally well in difficult circumstances and was knowledgeable about his country.
