What did you like most about Sri Lanka?
The people were so friendly and generous, and really made us feel welcome.
The nature was the real stand out to us, so many beautiful, and contrasting, landscapes to enjoy. Mountains, forests, plateaus, beaches, it felt like it had everything.
Our safari to Kumana was a highlight, we were one of only 2 jeeps going in in the morning and we hardly saw anybody else all day. But we saw Samba Deer, Leopards, and a Sloth Bear, couldn’t believe our luck. [Wow, that is great to hear and obviously a wonderful experience. We will be promoting Kumana NP a lot more in the future after your sightings!]
What did you like least about Sri Lanka?
The heat/humidity! There was a heatwave whilst we were there with a feels like of 45 degrees most days, but even the locals were commenting on how unusually hot it was.
What is your opinion of your accommodation in Sri Lanka?
Stunning, we stayed in some gorgeous accommodation. Sinharaja Rainforest Eco Lodge was a little run down in some areas (mainly the cabins), but it was so unusual this balanced this out.

What is your opinion of your chauffeur guide in Sri Lanka?
Nihal was wonderful and really made our trip, he went out of his way to make sure we had a great time and really experienced Sri Lanka. Even taking us to a New Year's festival in his town, the absolute highlight of our trip. We spent the day playing local games and his friends and family, who all made us feel so welcome.
He drove out of his way to sites we wanted to see, appeared with ice lollies when we needed them most, explained to hotels that we were vegan when we arrived, arranged surf lessons last minute, and really helped us gain a greater understanding of Sri Lanka and the sites we were seeing.
What is your opinion of your flights to and from Sri Lanka?
Flights were fine. Nothing outstanding, but nothing to complain about either. [Qatar Airways - London Heathrow - Economy Class]

Thanks again to your [John] and Pathi for organising the trip, we had a wonderful time.
Nihal was a great guide and driver, he made us feel really relaxed and really went out of his way for us, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anybody.
Accommodation was all great.
