What did you like most about Sri Lanka?
Friendly people.
Beautiful island scenery.
Buckingham Place [Tangalle] - Amazing. Wonderful. Mine host Nick [Buckingham] always happy to see us. Will go back in 2016.
What did you like least about Sri Lanka?
Roads - roads - roads and more roads!!
European food.
Grand Udawalawe Safari Resort [Uda Walawe] - Appalling food. OK hotel.
What is your opinion of your accommodation in Sri Lanka?
Heritance Kandalama, [Dambulla] - Lovely hotel, excellent food. Nice room. Lots of monkeys!
Cinnamon [Citadel], Kandy - Out of town. Nice hotel.
The Fort Printers, Galle - Lovely hotel. Huge rooms. Arab type food OK.
Cinnamon [Wild], Yala - Excellent position in middle of national park [just outside of the main entrance to Yala West National Park since no permanent structures are allowed inside national parks in Sri Lanka]. OK hotel.
What is your opinion of your chauffeur guide in Sri Lanka?
Anura was great! He was very caring and always concerned that Petra could manage. He always got to the places on time and when needed. He is very knowledgeable about birds; he could identify them all and at a distance. He was a bloody good driver!!! However, his accent is so thick that we couldn't always understand him. i.e. separrow=sparrow; estar=star; all double consonants had either 1st or 2nd letter! Difficult!!!
What is your opinion of your flights to and from Sri Lanka?
Petra was very happy in Business [Class]. Michael was happy in Economy [Class]. We would fly with SriLankan [Airlines] again!

Thank you so much for organising such an excellent holiday. We had a super time and Buckingham Place was a fabulous final stop! I managed well with the help of Anura and Michael.
Lovely holiday. Driving distances too long on lousy roads. Need to stop in Hill Country on way to Galle [from Dambulla]. 2 nights in Galle not enough if whale watching as afternoon we were too tired to see city. 3 nights minimum needed. Road from airport to Dambulla is being repaired and so is very pot holey and in dreadful condition so if going north from airport stop 1 night at Negombo. Long flight + 5 hours on atrocious road too much. Otherwise it was very well organised. Thank you.
