High prices in resort.
What is your opinion of your accommodation in Sri Lanka?
All of the accommodation was excellent and each had its own unique charm and features. We loved that each place was so different from the previous resort / hotel. All of the accommodation was spotless and the food was great. All of the staff we encountered went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. We couldn’t fault any of the accommodation.

What is your opinion of your chauffeur guide in Sri Lanka?
Nihal was superb throughout our stay. He was very attentive and got to know what we were interested in. He went out of his way to show us the true Sri Lanka and loved getting us to try local food. Mango and chili salt will never be forgotten!
Nihal even stopped at a small local concrete paving company once he knew this was my occupation! These little touches made for an excellent guide.
What is your opinion of your flights to and from Sri Lanka and Maldives?
As we had upgraded to business class they were excellent. [SriLankan Airlines]
Any other comments?
The holiday had a well-planned itinerary and suited us perfectly. It was great to be able to tailor make the holiday for us and this resulted in a one of a kind trip. The whole holiday from start to finish was amazing and even the cyclone didn’t spoil anything. The people were so friendly and it felt like our enjoyment was their top priority.
The changing landscape of Sri Lanka was not what we were expecting and we were stunned by how beautiful the country is. Seeing the elephants and the variety of bird life was very special, but we think this was topped by the viewing of the illusive leopard. Apart from the cyclone there is nothing we would have changed about the holiday and we are looking forward to planning our return trip.
