What did you like most about Sri Lanka?
We had an amazing time in Sri Lanka – thank you for helping us plan such a memorable trip! The wildlife was absolutely incredible, and we still can't believe we actually spotted a whale during the boat safari – truly unforgettable. One of the highlights was spending time with Pathi and his lovely family; their hospitality was so warm and genuine, and the cooking class was such a fun and delicious experience.
Our visit to the spice garden was another unexpected delight – trying fresh cinnamon for the first time was a revelation! We were mind-blown by how naturally sweet it tasted. The tea factory tour was also really informative and gave us a whole new appreciation for our daily cup.
And of course, the food throughout the trip was outstanding – we didn’t have a single plate we didn’t enjoy. The locals were all so friendly and welcoming!
What did you like least about Sri Lanka?
Can’t think of anything we didn’t enjoy – just wished we could have stayed longer 
What is your opinion of your accommodation in Sri Lanka?
We were really impressed with all of our accommodations throughout our trip to Sri Lanka – each place had its own charm and made our journey even more special.
Kassapa Lion's Rock offered clean, spacious rooms with stunning views of Lion’s Rock. The food was delicious, and the staff were so friendly – an ideal spot to unwind after exploring Sigiriya.
At Hanthana House, we felt incredibly welcome. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the cookery class there was a real highlight! It’s also in a great location, just a short distance from Kandy.
98 Acres Resort [& Spa, Ella] was pure luxury. The views were breathtaking, the food was excellent, and we loved the relaxing massages – such a treat!
Kithala Resort [Tissamaharama] stood out for its lovely, attentive staff who even surprised us with a birthday cake for my husband – such a thoughtful gesture! The rooms were quiet and peaceful, perfect for bird watching and a restful stay.
Finally, Talalla Retreat [Talalla] was the perfect way to end our trip. It was quiet, relaxing, and felt like a little slice of paradise. The private beach and stunning sunsets made it truly unforgettable.
Each place brought something special to our journey – couldn’t have asked for better!
What is your opinion of your chauffeur guide in Sri Lanka?
We had the absolute pleasure of having Ravi as our driver [guide] during our trip to Sri Lanka, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment we met him, Ravi made us feel incredibly welcome and safe. His driving was impeccable – always smooth, cautious, and professional, which really helped us relax and enjoy the journey.
What truly stood out, though, was Ravi’s deep knowledge of Sri Lanka’s wildlife, culture, and local gems. He amazed us with his ability to spot chameleons and lizards from afar – his eyesight is unbelievable! Whether we were asking about animals, local customs, or where to find the best food, Ravi always had helpful, insightful answers.
On top of all that, he was always punctual, polite, and had a warm, respectful demeanour throughout. Traveling with Ravi was like having a guide, a driver, and a friend all in one. We feel so lucky to have had him with us, and we’d recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone visiting Sri Lanka!
What is your opinion of your flights to and from Sri Lanka?
Very smooth experience, really enjoyed the Emirates flight, both Dubai and Colombo airports were very straightforward. [Arranged own flights]
