What did you like most about Sri Lanka?
Weather, people, the charm of some of the locations, tea plantations.
The beautiful people, landscape and nature.
What did you like least about Sri Lanka?
Too much development; the country is in danger of losing its charm.
The horrendous increase in traffic with infrastructure dragging behind i.e. the roads are unable to cope with the volume of traffic, especially in Kandy.
What is your opinion of your accommodation in Sri Lanka?
Very good – disappointed on one occasion when I had 3 nights in a child’s bed! Upgrade at Palagama Beach made up for this.
Brilliant – everywhere we stayed was lovely in different ways.
What is your opinion of your chauffeur guide in Sri Lanka?
We loved Yapa – he is such a genuinely sweet and caring person. On several occasions when we went ‘off piste’, he was running around looking for us!
What is your opinion of your flights to and from Sri Lanka?
Food poisoning from prawns on return flight?? Everything was good except that both Liz and I developed nausea – me on the plane, Liz the day after! We both still have it 1 week after. [SriLankan Airlines - Economy Class]

Thank you for sorting out our twin-bed situation. The villa upgrade at Palagama Beach Resort [Kalpitiya] to provide twin-bedded accommodation was superb.
We had a really fabulous holiday!
