What did you like most about Sri Lanka?
Different culture to West. Varied and beautiful landscapes.
Interesting and rich culture/history.

What did you like least about Sri Lanka?
Nothing specific - we could not single anything out.
What is your opinion of your accommodation in Sri Lanka?
Overall excellent. Our personal preferences were the smaller guest houses (Hanthana House [Kandy]/Zion View [Ella]). Nothing wrong with the hotels but they are relatively impersonal. Least favourite was Cocoon Hills [Nuwara Eliya] - we found it slightly odd. The food was very good/excellent all round; lots of variety and fresh ingredients. We are glad we did not opt for more time on the coast - Paradise Beach Club [Mirissa] is limited although Fort Bliss at Galle is excellent.
What is your opinion of your chauffeur guide in Sri Lanka?
We cannot speak highly enough of Niroshan - he was friendly, cheerful, punctual and extremely helpful. His knowledge of the wide variety of places was very good and his delivery is just right. Took us to places 'off venue' but on the way as well. Definitely an asset/good advertisement for your company.
Any other comments?
We both thoroughly enjoyed our tour - the balance and variety between natural/culture and history was just right. We will certainly recommend Tikalanka.
