What did you like most about Sri Lanka?
The variety in landscape, the delightful people and exquisite beaches, food and game parks. We loved Maalu Maalu [Resort & Spa, Passekudah] especially and met Henry Fitch at The Wallawwa [Airport].
What did you like least about Sri Lanka?

First night room at [Heritance] Kandalama [Dambulla] very noisy overhead from kitchen. Were given upgrade next 2 nights. Very tired round pools. Wonderful views but NOT 5-star accommodation.
Any other comments?
We found it unnecessary to do the same game drive twice [Wilpattu National Park, Anuradhapura] - 5.5 hours on first one not 3 hours as per itinerary.
Oscar delightful driver and guide and even removed seat from van [minibus] so John could be comfortable.
Low season on East Coast very quiet which was a bonus.
