A bit too hot at times.
What is your opinion of your accommodation in Sri Lanka?
Every hotel was excellent.

What is your opinion of your chauffeur guide in Sri Lanka?

What is your opinion of your flights to and from Sri Lanka?
First impression of Etihad [Airways] was that the seating was rather cramped for a long-haul [Economy Class] flight – but the service was excellent and the way they looked after us when we were delayed by the [London] Heathrow fire was exemplary. [This is very good to hear as we were concerned for you.]
Any other comments?
Everything worked as planned – a wonderful experience all round.
Minor quibbles:
- The need to phone for a buggy to get around the Uga Ulagalla estate was slightly inconvenient.
- The idea of having dinner with others at the Jetwing Mahesa Bhawan in Jaffna was good but on one occasion the 'communal' aspect didn't work, also it would have been good to have had somewhere comfortable to sit on our own rather than find one of the limited number of seats round the pool. [Thanks for your understanding and we will feedback your comments to the management.]
- As you know we had difficulty getting a landing card online but in the end none was needed and it looks as though they are discontinued. [Many thanks for the update as we have received no official communiqué from the Sri Lanka Government regarding the discontinuation of the online arrivals card!]
