What did you like most about Sri Lanka?
People, nature.
What did you like most about Maldives?
Scuba diving and undersea life, superb hotel/resort. [Mirihi Island Resort]
What did you like least about Sri Lanka?
Nothing of note – the inland everyday towns were uninteresting being repetitive busy chaotic bustling everyday life. We had one bad experience with tipping at Jetwing Warwick Gardens [Nuwara Eliya] where we gave 5 times the Tikalanka suggested amount to three hotel staff where we stayed one night (and that briefly) and they were clearly not satisfied and showed it.
What did you like least about Maldives?
Nothing.
What is your opinion of your accommodation in Sri Lanka?
Mostly very good, interesting and different.

What is your opinion of your chauffeur guide in Sri Lanka?
Very kind, diligent, willing. A lovely man. The only issue was that his level of English was not great and his accent very strong and at times we struggled to understand each other. He and we got accustomed to each other during the trip and the later stages were better. He did rather trot out the standard information about temples and ancient history of royalty, information we could easily read and understand better on the information displays available. We have no complaints about him but someone with better language would have enabled us to have more interesting discussions about SL society etc. [Anura]
