The people, the scenery, the food.
What did you like most about Maldives?
The relaxed atmosphere, the snorkelling, the peace & quiet. [Kuredu Island Resort]
What did you like least about Sri Lanka?
Nothing to dislike – driving is mad and electrics are interesting but loved it all.

Having to come home!
What is your opinion of your accommodation in Sri Lanka?
Paradise Beach Club [Mirissa] was basic but adequate, food and location were excellent, would stay there again.
Kalu’s Hideaway [Uda Walawe] was fantastic, loved everything about this place. Food, accommodation, staff, were all excellent.
Amba Estate [Ella] – very remote felt a little isolated on our first night but mainly because we didn’t realise what facilities etc we could use. We were shown round by staff on arrival but didn’t really take in everything and didn’t ask the right questions. We all ended up having a cold shower on our first night as we hadn’t discovered the switch to turn on the water heater. We didn’t realize we could use the kitchen after the staff left at 8.30pm to make tea or get another beer from the fridge. Although it is lovely to be shown round rather than just be given a handbook it would have been helpful to have these things written down. Putting that aside this place is just beautiful, the staff are excellent and the food was fantastic. We loved the tea tasting and the tea tour was informative without being boring. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to friends.

Oscar was informative and knowledgeable. An asset to our enjoyment of the country.
What is your opinion of your flights to and from Sri Lanka and Maldives?
Flights were great, service on board was excellent – few extra grey hairs when our flight from Male to Colombo was delayed but that’s just me! [SriLankan Airlines – Economy Class]
Any other comments?
We felt the whole holiday was excellent value for money. We did and saw everything we asked for.
Will not hesitate to recommend your company to others.
We were offered an upgrade whilst in Kuredu to a Jacuzzi Beach Villa in the “O” resort but were more than happy with our Beach Bungalows as they were on the quiet, sunset side of the island.
