Cleanliness and friendliness.
What did you like least about Sri Lanka?
Lack of animal life.
What is your opinion of your accommodation in Sri Lanka?
All excellent, but not Tissa Inn [Tissamaharama]. No welcome drink, bed not made up, shower area not inviting, no plug for sink, pay for water.
What is your opinion of your chauffeur guide in Sri Lanka?
Punctual, clean, knowledgeable, helpful. [Oscar]
What is your opinion of your flights to and from Sri Lanka?
Good, unfortunately 2.5 [hours’] delay from Dubai home. [Emirates from London Gatwick - Economy Class]
Any other comments?
Aliya [Resort & Spa, Sigiriya] misleading [as] elephants do not roam free, otherwise excellent.
Horton Plains. We don’t mind [a] 9 km walk but NOT to be scrambling over rocks and tree roots.
Sunset boat trip [Tissa Wewa, Tissamaharama] 0.5 hours not 1.5 hours because of lack of bird life.
Yala. Disappointing, very little wildlife.
Bundala. Lack of birds – due to new airport locally.
But regardless of this it was an enjoyable holiday.
