What did you like most about Sri Lanka?
Culture, scenery, people, food, security of travel, the flawless organization of Tikalanka in England and in Sri Lanka, and excellent choices of accommodation.
What did you like least about Sri Lanka?
Probably the travel there and back.
What is your opinion of your accommodation in Sri Lanka?
Loved the different types of accommodation at every destination. Food excellent in each stay. Probably the cost of wine was excessive.
What is your opinion of your chauffeur guide in Sri Lanka?
Niroshan our guide was a true gentleman and excellent guide and driver. However maybe his car could have done with an update. It was very comfortable but maybe the air-con needed updating. I know it is supplied by the company.
What is your opinion of your flights to and from Sri Lanka?
Long and more long!! But maybe because we didn’t sleep well on the flight. Emirates and Qantas were very good. [Economy Class – London Heathrow]
Any other comments?
All in all as a holiday company Tikalanka was more than excellent in giving us a holiday for our money. John was professional in his organization of the holiday from start to finish and was always in contact. The choice of stays were different in all aspects but probably our favourite was Taru Villas [Villa Mawella, Tangalle]. We would recommend all of them to our friends. Pathi and family were excellent as hosts in their lovely home [Hanthana House, Kandy].
Loved the tea plantations and visiting the elephants, in fact everything!!!
It was such a lovely surprise to have flowers delivered to me on my Birthday and the attention of the staff in trying to provide me with food when I was unwell.
WHAT CAN I SAY A THOROUGHLY MEMORABLE HOLIDAY FOR MY 70TH BIRTHDAY. THANK YOU ALL ONCE AGAIN.
