The "No" to the recommendation question is purely because I felt the tour price was quite heavily marked up. It would be good if the tour planner could be more open on prices and ideally quote in real time. [Tikalanka has confidentiality agreements with the accommodation providers in Sri Lanka and Maldives that stipulate no room prices are to be shown on our website.]
Otherwise, everything was flawlessly organised both before and during the trip. I think you should notify the hotels when you have honeymooners - most of them provided some amenities once they found out but not all asked. [Tikalanka always informs the accommodation of honeymoons and special occasions in advance.]"
