What did you like most about Sri Lanka?
Variety. People.
Varied scenery and culture. Bird and wildlife. Cleanliness.
What did you like least about Sri Lanka?
Aspects of road traffic. Human rights abuses/political situation.
Time to travel from A to B. Not distance, but traffic speed.
Any other comments?
The tour was very good and the chauffeur/guide (Kapila) excellent. A good experience.
We went to Trincomalee where we did our own thing based on your recommendations. One place we did enjoy was the Naval Museum - in the Naval Training Area at Hoods Tower. You have to pay and have an escort but the museum covers the British/Sri Lankan and LTTE aspects very well. Strongly recommended.
An excellent trip. Well organised with good guide/driver.
