“The whole experience with Tikalanka was excellent. The itinerary good, though probably trying to do too much, the accommodation was generally excellent and the various excursions ideal. “It was a wonderful holiday, a fascinating and varied journey and new experience. We saw some amazing sights, starting with ancient Buddhist temples, then climbing up Sigiriya, walking in lovely countryside, tasting tea in the plantations at 2000 metres high, seeing lots of animals and then relaxing for a few days by an exquisite tropical beach! Galle too had a lot of charm.”

“Scenery was stunning. People were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. We saw a huge number of birds and had great viewing of whales which was one our main aims so we were delighted with that. Maldives is everything you see in the pictures and a whole lot more. The staff in Filitheyo [Island Resort] were a delight and couldn’t be more helpful or personable if they tried.”
