Beautiful country, lovely people. Felt safe.
Amazing historical architecture, fabulous wildlife.

Stray dogs!
What is your opinion of your accommodation in Sri Lanka?
All the accommodation was excellent [and] all very different from each other.
What is your opinion of your chauffeur guide in Sri Lanka?
Ravi [Aruppola] was fantastic - good driver, knowledgeable about everything - wildlife, history.
Always keen to accommodate our requests. We can’t speak highly enough of him.
What is your opinion of your flights to and from Sri Lanka?
Very comfortable. [Qatar Airways - Economy Class - Edinburgh]
Any other comments?
Thanks - excellent itinerary. We packed a lot in and the places we stayed were all excellent.
Took an extra National Park trip whilst in Dambulla, specifically to see elephants - and we did! Very worthwhile.
Disappointed not to have a seat on the train journey - very hairy ride on very packed train!

We are able to book train tickets only 30 days prior to departure and, in the peak holiday seasons, trains are very busy and tickets at a premium. We apologise to our customers for their less than satisfactory train experience but somethings are out of our capable hands, I am afraid. Alternative transfer by road with your chauffeur guide is always an option.]
