“Our itinerary was perfect for us. We enjoyed all of our stays. The service was outstanding in all the places we stayed. Ravi was exceptional. He went above and beyond to make our journeys interesting and accommodated Jerry massively in his search for bird and wildlife. His knowledge was outstanding. “Really enjoyed what for us is a memorable and satisfying holiday. The holiday accommodation was very good all through the trip with special mention for Galkadawala [Forest Lodge, Habarana], Amba [Estate, Ella], and especially [The] Villa Bentota [Bentota] and Villa Hundira [Negombo]. “As I know people can have concerns, it is important to say that we felt completely safe at all times in Sri Lanka, including on our final weekend which coincided with the September 2024 general election and vote count. “I really enjoyed my trip to Sri Lanka. What really helped to make the trip is Kapila was very accommodating and I got to see a lot of birds. People were very friendly and we enjoyed the food. “In general, the holiday was excellent with no complaints except according to our itinerary we were doing the 26km bike ride but the guide said it was only the 12km one. This actually was better for us in the end. Apart from this, the villa was great, the house staff were excellent, all chauffeurs and guides were perfect, food in the villa was amazing and the itinerary that you suggested was just right for us with accurate descriptions.”
